Olivier KANN songs and musics

Olivier KANN (Olivier NAKAB of his real name) is a French author, composer and performer born on September 19, 1972 in Neuilly sur Seine (Hauts de Seine).

He first follows a classical theoretical training at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris.

Shortly after, he began to learn the piano in private lessons and then at the Ecole Carpentier Salle Pleyel, he was then 7 years old.

He learns the guitar at the age of 14 in summer camps, and improves through meetings with various musicians who transmit to him some of their secrets.

At the age of 25, he started, in parallel with his musical activities, a lyrical singing training with the singer Jeanine Fourrier, teacher and former soloist of the Paris Opera.

He composes numerous melodies essentially on the piano, his main instrument, and on the guitar, and writes texts as well as songs.

Then, he discovers Senegal in 2006 where he will record many of his French and English titles.

In 2009, the discovery of Brazil will bring a Latin color to several of his songs, both in the rhythm and in the lyrics and melodies, and will allow him to expand his musical horizon.
